e-Chamber project aims at the development of a knowledge-full portal that can handle requests or provide information in many languages and be well integrated either in the platform or interface level of any European SME member of a local, National or Regional Commercial Chamber thus organising an active network of Commercial Chambers.

Thus e-Chamber contributes to the general activities of EU for the improvement of new methods of work and e-commerce.

The proposed Internet middleware interface will encompass the different systems under a common set of tools, and will be able to handle multilingual requests, as well as to assure network security issues using up-to-date technologies. eChamber targets to the functional (and not structural) transformation of the Chambers in Europe, to electronic Chambers.
